The Lujiazui Development Showroom is in the Lujiazui Central Green, which is on the north of the Jinmao Mansion. It was built in 1917 with the land area of about 3000 square meters and the construction area of 2765 square meters. It was one of the largest private houses in Shanghai at that time. The former owner is a businessman of transportation.

　　During the War of Resistance Against Japan, it was the headquart of the Japanese army and during the Liberation War the Kuomingtang occupied it. During the Culture Revolution, it was destroyed to some extent. And during the relocation in 1996, we kept it and repaired it into the Lujiazui Development Showroom, where displays the past, present and future of Lujiazui.
