It has been ten years since Pudong Development & Opening-up. China Post Bureau issued two sets of No. TP.16 14 pieces of "Shanghai Pudong" special post card on September 9th. Shanghai Pudong New Area Administration and Shanghai Post Bureau held"'Shanghai Pudong' Special Post Card Issuing Ceremony" at Lujiazui Central Green.

Set A contains 10 cards: pricing RMB 9 yuan，each one pricing RMB 0.60 yuan. Pictures are: Shanghai International Convention Center, Pudong International Airport, Century Avenue, Riverside Avenue, Nanpu Bridge, Lujiazui Finance & Trade Zone, Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Sunqiao Modern Agriculture Development Zone、Jinqiao Export & Processing Zone, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Zone. The cover picture is Oriental Pearl TV Tower； Set B contains 4 cards，pricing RMB 18 yuan，each one pricing RMB 4.20 yuan. Pictures are: Jin Mao Tower, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Lujiazui Finance & Trade Zone, Shanghai Stock Exchange. The cover picture is Oriental Light.

Major features of the post cards:

China Post Bureau determines this topic to be the key project of stamp designing. March, China Post Bureau and Shanghai Pudong New Area Administration decided to design "Shanghai Pudong" Special Post Cards through meticulous research，then process design in detail. Designers and photographers have been Pudong New Area many times. What impressed them most are many themes and changes. They are surprised at great achievements in Pudong, which generate a lot of creative idea. Because of changes in Pudong happened everyday, they changes their design many times. The speed of designing can not catch up with the speed of changes. The pictures of the officially issued post cards witness the beauty of Pudong this summer, which reflected the wonder of Pudong New Area. Since spring to autumn，it takes half an year to issue the post cards.
