Friendship Restaurant is the first Sino-foreign joint venture restaurant in Shanghai. Cooperatively founded by Shanghai Exhibition Center and China Tourism Investment Company Limited of Hong Kong. It is located atop the eighteenth century Russian-style building of Shanghai Exhibition Center. Its spacious square can accommodate hundreds of automobiles of all kinds.

Friendship Restaurant offers decent Cantonese cuisine. The dishes with high-quality seasoning from Hong Kong are prepared by the distinguished chefs from Hong Kong. Its beautifully & luxuriously decorated dining halls on the fifth floor are composed of Friendship Hall, Guest Hall and several elegant dining rooms, with a capacity of serving over 500 guests at one time. There are a bar, a cafe and an arts & crafts market on the sixth floor. On the seventh floor are a VIP room and a guest room. Guests could have a bird's eye view of the city while comfortably enjoying the pleasure of the best Cantonese cuisine in Shanghai.
