Located in the Anshan neighborhood of Kongjiang Road---the commercial center of Yangpu District, Shanghai Far-East International Commercial Building lies at the crossroads of Anshan Road and Bengxi Road. Anshan Department Store lies to its north and the Fair Building to its south. This commercial building stands in concert with the Pheonix Hotel,the Sanfeng Superfines Commercial Building, the Yangpu Center and the newly established commercial complex of Kongjiang Road. Shanghai Far-East International Commercial Building occupies a total site area of 5,000 square meters, among which 2,960 square meters are used to construct the building. Its total floor space is 33,000 square meters. This complex commercial building consists of two 21-storeyed buildings and a basement of one floor. The floor space for each of the first four floors is 3,000 square meters and the floor space for the rest 17 floors is 550 square meters each. From the 5th floor to the 21th floor there are six 90-square-meter units on every floor. Installed with all kinds of telecommunications equipment, every unit includes an office, a meeting-room, a bedroom, a toilet and a kitchen. The first four floors are air-conditioned by the central air-conditioning system while on the other floors each unit is installed with an separate air-conditioner according to the specific needs of the occupants. The building is equipped with a complete set of modern facilities,such as two vertical elevators,cable and TV systems, computer viewing system,automatic fire alarm system and security monitoring system,etc. There is also a basement parking lot where 42 cars can be parked. All these provide a comfortable, safe and perfect working environment for the clients of the commercial building.
