Imperial Cannon Team ( Daqing Paodui C-1988, VC) --- This film is about a cannon team stationed at Wukou Fort in North China from the start of the Opium War to the suppression of the Boxers by the eight-power Western allied forces. The team is a motley collection of peasants, rebels, army riffraff, opium-smokers, womanizers, cowards and village women disguised as men, who all die in brutal fights on the battle front.
